"I bought a WINE-STAT in 1996 at the beginning of my love affair with wine. ... Except as noted below, the device has functioned perfectly since its purchase. On Friday afternoon (8/2), I noticed that the temperature had risen to 58 degrees, indicating that the WINE-STAT was not functioning correctly. Upon calling the company, they were able to correctly diagnose the problem and overnight a temp. probe to me with instructions on installing the new probe. The fridge was again functioning perfectly by the morning of 8/4.
The usual disclaimer -- I am not affiliated with the company who makes the WINE-STAT, other than as a happy customer who received great service. :-)
