The WINE-STAT Control Unit and Simple Installation

The WINE-STAT plugs into your wall socket, and then your cooling unit plugs into the receptacle on the back of the WINE-STAT. In this manner, the WINE-STAT takes over control of your cooler, whether it be a refrigerator, freezer, air conditioner or your commercial wine cellar unit. You place the WINE-STAT in a location within a few feet (or on top) of your cooler. The WINE-STAT has a permanently-attached bottle simulator temperature sensor with a thin cable which is about 8' long. You place the bottle simulator sensor inside the cooler with your wine, then close the door on the cable. You do not need to drill any holes in the wall of your cabinet. The WINE-STAT will turn your cooler on and off as needed to maintain the wine temperature you have selected within one degree F.

Using a freezer is not recommended unless you order the "Freezer Option" freeze protection feature with your WINE-STAT. User accepts the (very slight) risk of accidental freezing in the event of a malfunction.

A switch is provided on the back of the WINE-STAT to allow you to set the desired temperature that you wish to keep your wine. After you set it, the switch is reversed to provide a continuous display of the actual wine temperature on the front panel display of the WINE-STAT. You will always have the confidence at a glance that your valuable wine is maintained at the ideal temperature you have elected.

Just follow these simple installation steps:

  • STEP 1. Plug the WINE-STAT into your wall socket
  • STEP 2. Plug your cooler (fridge, freezer, A/C, etc.) into the WINE-STAT socket
  • STEP 3. Place the WINE-STAT's bottle sensor amidst your wine collection inside the cooler
  • STEP 4. Set your choice of wine storage temperature on the WINE-STAT (choose within a range of 49 - 65 degrees)
  • STEP 5. Monitor your wine temperature on the continuously illuminated display at your convenience
